It was in September 29, 2004 that the men and women behind what was then Agusan for Peoples Health Development Foundation, Inc. (APHDFI) secured a Certification of Registration from the Securities and Exchange Commission. The primary objective of APHDFI – as stipulated in the Articles of Incorporation – was to contribute to the control and prevention of malaria in Agusan del Sur.
Fast forward to September 29, 2019. APHDFI has already taken another name – Foundation for the Development of Agusanons, Inc. (FDAI) – and has already broadened its objectives. As a matter of fact, FDAI has already been implementing numerous programs and projects – all for Full Humanity Development. As for the original objective of the foundation, the Department of Health already declared Agusan del Sur as a Malaria-Free Province, an extraordinary achievement by numerous stakeholders as the province was once tagged as endemic with the disease.
In its 15th Founding Anniversary, the Foundation for the Development of Agusanons, Inc. has several activities, one of which is the Launching of Upscaled Hygeia Organic Foods Catering Services. As has been known, FDAI has been operating Hygeia IntegraMeds Center where it hosts trainings, seminars, wedding receptions, among others. At Hygeia Center, FDAI makes it a point to serve organic, hearty, and healthy foods.
With the upscaling of its catering services, FDAI can now accept bookings from all over Agusan del Sur and nearby Butuan City. As FDAI is registered with PhilGEPS (Platinum Membership), it can cater the needs of government offices.
