In partnership with the Local Government Unit of Sta. Josefa and HEED Foundation, Inc., FDAI opens classes for 5thย and 6thย Batches of TESDA Scholars taking up Organic Agriculture Production NC II. The formal opening was done on September 17 โ€“ 18, 2019 at Hygeia IntegraMeds Center, Patin-ay, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur. With employees and partners of the Local Government Unit of Sta. Josefa and HEED Foundation, Inc. as enrollees, the course will cover various competencies contained in Training Regulations on Organic Agriculture Production NC II.

It can be recalled that FDAI was granted by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) a Certificate of TVET Program Registration and it (FDAI) has since actively doing its part to be worthy of such a certification. And in order to be responsive to the demands of TESDA and the organic agriculture industry in general, FDAI has embarked in upgrading its Hygeia IntegraMeds Center facilities; more particularly those that are required in capacitating learners in the prescribed competencies. Among the latest improvements/installations within Hygeia Center are the following:

  • Organic Native Chicken Production Area,
  • Organic Hog Production Area,
  • Vermicomposting Area, and
  • Organic Black Rice Production Area.
