The Foundation for the Development of Agusanons, Inc. (FDAI) have recently bags again both the regional and national Gawad Kalasag Award. In the recently held awarding ceremony at the Almont Inland Resort on November 28, 2024, no less than Regional Director Lorene Sia-Cathedral of the Office of the Civil Defense of Caraga Region, personally presented FDAI both the 1st Place Regional and 2nd Place National Awards for 2024 under the Seal of Special Award for the Best Civil Society Organization for Excellence in Disaster Risk Reduction Management and Humanitarian Assistance, besting other organizations.

This recognition marks the third consecutive year of FDAI’s recognition as the Best Civil Society Organization at the regional and national levels of the same category, having received the same distinction in 2023.

The award underscores FDAI’s unwavering commitment to fostering safer communities through strong Disaster Risk Reduction and Management initiatives.
