The Foundation for the Development of Agusanons, Inc. (FDAI) intensifies the implementation of its Agricultural Program dubbed as FARMASI (Agricultural Sustainability Interventions). Relevant and significant activities in the past days were the following:
1. Display of FARMASI products at the Manila Hotel in time for the National Conference of the Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative last May 17 – 18, 2017;
2. Submission of required documents and facilitation of the Regional Evaluation for 2017 Search for Organic Agriculture Achievers Award in the early days of June. It can be noted that FDAI is the Regional Winner and National Nominee of Organic Agriculture Achievers Award 2014, 2015, and 2016;
3. Display of FARMASI products during the Naliyagan Festival of the Province of Agusan del Sur on June 10 -17, 2017; and
4. Forum and Orientation on Extractive Industries Transparency and Accountability Initiatives for Black Rice Farmers of Agusan del Sur. The activity was aimed at developing advocates for this theme: ORGANIC AGRICULTURE DEMANDS TRANSPARENT AND ACCOUNTABLE MINING PRACTICES. The activity was funded by Natural Resources Governance Institute – Bantay Kita-Publish What You Pay International Coalition.
