Having been disqualified to join the Organic Agriculture Achievers Award โ after being Regional Winner for several years โ this year, 2019, FDAI trained its eyes on Gawad KALASAG Award.
Gawad KALASAG is the Philippinesโ premier annual awards for excellent contributions in DRRM and humanitarian assistance. Through this, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council recognizes programs, activities and projects that protect high risk communities against hazards and provide more capabilities in addressing vulnerabilities and coping from disasters.
For 2019 Gawad KALASAG Award, FDAI is glad to have been adjudged as the Agusan del Sur Provincial Winner and Caraga Regional First Runner Up. Inspired with the recognition, FDAI commits TO BE MORE and TO DO MORE in the field of disaster risk reduction and management in the coming years.
