The Foundation for the Development of Agusanons, Inc. (FDAI) supports the conduct of International Conference on Environmental Science, Technology, Engineering, and Agriculture (ICESTEA2019), which is organized by the Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology. This move is in line with FDAI’s efforts to continuously look for ways to address problems that beset the society, particularly in these times of climate change.
In his Keynote Address, FDAI Executive Director Rex T. Linao intoned:
“… conferences like what we have here are important in as much as it could produce some important insights, could point to specific policy areas, could come up with research agenda and/or identify areas for technology development…
… Let us always bear in mind that we have obligations to translate to practicable and actionable options for small, marginalized farmers whatever good things that we will be discussing in the next few days”
