The Foundation for the Development of Agusanons, Inc. (FDAI) joined the Annual National Forum on September 1โ5, 2025, at Oazis Hotel in Butuan City. The event was organized by Kindernothilfe Philippines, the funding partner of the Self-Help Approach (SHA), and hosted by BULAK, Inc.
This yearโs forum focused on the theme โ๐ฆ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐ด๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฆ๐๐ ๐ ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐: ๐๐บ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ช๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป, ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป, ๐๐๐ถ๐น๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐๐ป๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐.โ The activity gathered SHA partners from across the Philippines to exchange best practices, build networks, and enhance collaboration in program implementation.
As one of the presenters in the Parallel Session, FDAI discussed Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC), Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Materials (CSAEM), and Teenage Pregnancy. The organization highlighted its key initiatives in combating these issues and shared advocacy materials to support collective campaigns with other SHA partners.
FDAI also received recognition during the awarding ceremony. The organization placed 9th in the timely submission of the General Annual Report (GAR) for the BARMM Project and earned a Special Award for the punctual submission of Bi-Annual and Database Reports.
Overall, the forum provided an important platform for learning, sharing experiences, and strengthening the SHA movement, with the common goal of empowering women, protecting children, and building resilient communities.
