Talacogon, Agusan del Sur — In Barangay Maharlika, a group of determined women is proving that when passion meets purpose, communities thrive. The Maharlikang Nakahiusang Kababaehan – Cluster Level Association (MNK-CLA) has become a symbol of hope, resilience, and shared prosperity for women and families in their barangay.

For years, MNK-CLA has envisioned establishing a rice retail business not only to meet a basic need in their community but also to uplift the economic well-being of every member. Recognizing this dedication, Foundation for the Development of Agusanons, Inc. (FDAI) supported these women in transforming their vision into reality.

The result? What started as three rice retail stations has now grown into four thriving outlets serving different puroks in Barangay Maharlika. This expansion reflects both the demand for affordable rice and the unwavering commitment of the women behind the project.
