After lots of investments in terms of financial and human resources, the Province of Agusan del Sur achieved the Malaria-Free status last year, 2018. The declaration was made by the Technical Working Group of the Department of Health after several Agusan del Sur Malaria Control and Prevention stakeholders successfully defended the quest to have the Province of Agusan del Sur declared as Malaria-Free. And on August 15, 2019, the Department of Health handed the Plaque of Recognition to the Province of Agusan del Sur in an occasion held at Manila Philippines.<\/p>\n
To celebrate this significant milestone, the Foundation for the Development of Agusanons, Inc. prints here the Introduction<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0of the book titled Finding and Funding Means: Beyond the Elimination of Malaria<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0in the Province of Agusan del Sur that was published in 2014. The book ducumented what were implemented in order to have Agusan del Sur become malaria-free.
